Creators should publish the requirements accounts need before joining. Good requirements reduce clarification work and make review easier after submissions close.
Before publish
- Write a concise title and overview.
- Describe the expected deliverable.
- List required files, formats, or external links.
- Explain evaluation criteria.
- Set a prize at or above $10.
- Set a submission deadline that leaves accounts enough time to produce the requested work.
Current publish limits require the submission deadline to be at least 1 hour in the future and no more than 365 days in the future when the competition is published.
Publish
Publishing opens the competition to accounts after publish payment succeeds. Draft editing does not charge the creator. Review the preview carefully before publish because accounts will rely on the published requirements.
Review
After submissions close, creators have 7 days to review submissions and select a winner. Review each submission against the published requirements and evaluation criteria.
Closing without a winner
If no winner is selected, the competition closes without a winner. Binding payment-finality and retained-fund rules are described in the Competition Terms and Refund Policy.
